Lake Rudolph

Last weekend we went RV camping at Lake Rudolph in Santa Claus Indiana. We went to Squire Boone Caverns on Friday. The kids dipped candles, minned for gem stones (no diamonds were found), and climbed over 200 stairs as we explored the Cavern. I was baptized in a river there when I was 9 years old, but we could not find the river anywhere!

We spent the weekend in an RV. The campground was having Halloweekends. The kids were able to go trick or treating throughout the campground on Saturday. We also went on hayrides, watched Charile Brown's Great Pumpkin on the bigscreen outside, roasted marshmallows for smores, and played miniature golf. In our sparetime we went to Holiday World. Our kids surprised us and rode every ride they were tall enough to ride! I learned that my vestibular system is not what it used to be-I got pretty dizzy on the Scrambler-I used to ride the Scrambler over and over. Steve learned to cook over an open fire and the burgers were delicious! Thanks mom and dad for babysitting Katherine this weekend! Enjoy the photos!

Women Drivers!

This is a hilarious video of Lydia (yes our three year old) riding a go-cart (note she is wearing a helmet this time). My niece, Julia is the one running for her life. Lydia gives our family many laughs!

Trampoline Fun

This is video of the kids enjoying some free time at gymnastics! Katherine loves to be bounced on the trampoline. This video is a little out of focus, however, this is the first time I have ever taken video with our still camera (we have had it five years), and this is the first video I have ever downloaded onto our computer, and obviously the first I have ever uploaded to the web. I did not even have to call my brother one time for assistance. And folks think I just cook, play with hot wheels and change diapers all day...

Cute... Now

This picture is so cute now, they were having so much fun. The girls were laughing and squealing as Joshua drove the car a little too close to the trees and fence, and his daddy's corvette! Even at 5 years old he already likes to drive crazy (daddy has taught him well)! Like I said the picture is cute now, but in 11 years it will be plain scarey!
We are teaching them at a young age that they have to take care of their toys. Whenever Steve washes the cars he fills 4 buckets of soapy water and the kids wash their toys.
